A make-ahead appetizer with just three ingredients gets a makeover with the addition of creamy, citrusy Laura Chenel Original Goat Cheese. We crafted ours with Original goat cheese, but these would be excellent with Garlic & Chive as well. Wrap mini hot dogs in triangles of crescent dough, top with crumbled cheese and lightly bake. Substitute hot dogs with mini sausages or sliced tofu dogs. Serve with a high-quality Dijon mustard. This easy, no-fuss recipe is ideal for kids' parties and game day snacks.

Laura Chenel Goat Cheese Sausage Rolls


  • 8oz. crescent roll dough, cut into 24 equal triangles
  • 12oz. mini hot dogs
  • 8oz. Original fresh goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1c. Dijon mustard (for dipping)


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Place one mini hot dog in the center of each crescent triangle. Top with 1 tbsp. crumbled goat cheese. Fold crescent triangle around mini hot dog. Repeat for remaining crescent triangles.
  3. Evenly space rolled hot dogs 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes until dough is golden and hot dogs are warmed through.

Serve with Dijon mustard.
