Herbed goat cheese and gouda quiche


  • 1 pie dough, thawed
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3 TBSP olive oil
  • 1 Laura Chenel garlic and herb goat cheese log
  • 1/2 Laura Chenel thyme and rosemary fresh goat cheese pillow
  • 1 cup 1,000 day aged gouda, grated
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
  2. Prepare a tart pan with the thawed pie dough.
  3. Cover the prepared tart pan with parchment and fill with pie weights or dried beans. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, crumble the goat cheeses together with the grated gouda.
  5. In another mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with the heavy cream and salt.
  6. When the tart shell is par-baked, add the cheeses evenly across the base of the tart and pour the eggs over the cheese.
  7. Bake at 375F for 35 minutes. Allow to cool for the eggs to fully set before slicing and serving.
